The "F05" error code is indicating a Water Temperature Sensor Error. Does it take long time for the water to get hot when you initially start it? If the water is cold entering the tub when hot water or warm water is selected it possibly could cause the error. It only makes sense because after you cancel the cycle and restart the washer it does OK because the cold water has been purged.
There is a thermistor located on the heating element mounting bracket which is used to monitor the water temperature. The heating element w/thermistor will be located on the lower back portion of the tub. You might find a loose wire connection on the thermistor. You will need to remove the rear panel to access the heater and thermistor. You will need an ohm meter to measure the resistance of the thermistor. See images below for specifications.
NOTE: Disconnect the power cord before removing the rear panel.
If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, the "F/05" error code will be displayed.
Potential Causes:
Check the Water Temperature Sensor
Check connections to the Water Temperature Sensor
I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your washer.
SOURCE: coming up on screen F05
Error code F05 means pressure switch jammed on full.
Remove lower rear cover of washer.
Locate and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.
This should solve the problem.
Please leave feed back.
Thankyou.
