Kindly check first if the batteries of your TV remote ( medium to change input ) are fresh. After that please check again the button on your TV remote for INPUT, SOURCE, or TV/VIDEO and it should give you input lists.

SOURCE: tv not working

Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal? My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie. I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution. My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.

SOURCE: blue screen with HDMI

Check the power supply modular cable connection that is by itself in the upper right corner.  On the one my son-in-law has the double yellow jumper wire that connects to this plug in two locations was loose (not properly inserted) in the modular connector and had worked it way out.

SOURCE: no signal when hooked up with a digital cable box

I had the same problem and had the cable guy out and everything thinking it was my box. I figured it out by myself here is what i did to fix it. I have the vizio 32 inch hooked to an hdmi cable and through the cable box i had the aspect ratio on 1080i and i should have had it on 720p once I switched it I havent had the problem since.

SOURCE: Television is not recognizing HDMI inputs

there is a possibility that there might have been a power surge sent over hdmi into the hdmi board on the tv. if on your model the hdmi board is seperate from the sine board then youll have a cheap replacement if not its gonna cost you roughly 300-400 is my guess.

How do I find the cable channel on my Poloroid 3211? All I get is a blue screen saying"NO SIGNAL"

It indicates a no signal issue--either not hooked, wrong input etc.

It could also mean the set needs a reset if it has it---Check with Polaroid concerning this.

What I would first do is see if the rear audio/video inputs work--hook a DVD etc to a rear input--go there to that input and see if working.

If rear inputs work and you use a cable box, go from the a/v inputs on box to a set on the TV----this will bypass the TV tuner and allow you to operate the set that way.

Cable TV blinks on and off when connected to my Onkyo receiver.

I have the same problem.  It only occurs with my HD DVR (HDMI cable), not my blue ray (HDMI cable), or my xbox and wii (component video).  Video and audio cutout is random and drives the family nuts.  I am desperate for a solution.

Xbox 360 hookup problem

Check the video cable coming out of the xbox, depending on which model xbox it is (arcade, pro, elite etc.) it will most likely have both component cables - green, blue and red or RCA cables - Yellow, red and white. It sounds as if your JVC would only be able to run RCA cables (due to its age) so use the yellow cable for video and white and red (or just white if you only have a yellow and white input) and then make sure the switch located on the cable is switched to "standard" and not "hi definition" hope it helps. [email protected] -if you have any further problems

When i try to connect my xbox 360 to my Vizio hdtv it doesnt not recognize the connection. I have tried replacing the cord to no avail

I have a Vizio 37' tv with an Xbox 360 and it works fine. I am a Cable repair tech, hook up the xbox using the composit cable first RCA these are the red white and yellow cable to a non high def input on the tv, if that works check the settings in the xbox, there is a screen that will allow or enable HD quality pictures. Also check the Xbox cable itself. at the Y there is a small swiitch that goes from componet to composit you can only get HD if you use the Red Blue Green cables, then make sure you have the TV input set to that input other wise you will have only a blue screen. If that does not work, Hell, call the cable company if you are a customer, they should send someone out to show you how to connect it, and they might not even charge you, we don't, but I work for a smaller company, not ComCast or Cox, If you want to email me you can [email protected], good luck

Sony str-dg820. having a problem getting video on tv

Hook up Composite / Component Monitor Out wire from receiver to TV video input because receiver will not change analog input into HDMI
You need to connect receiver and TV through analog video terminals as above.
Actually you are expecting that receiver will convert DVD player and Xbox analog video input into digital HDMI signal for TV and This is incorrect.

Screen remains blue with "no signal" written on it, inspite of a cable connection and, of course, the input set to cable

Probably a bad video processor board

But, 1st try using a different type of Cable such as IRC, STD, or HRC different freqs and channels

Also, try using a vcr or dvd on one of the inputs to see if that works

Blue screen

It sounds like your kid switched to a different input. I am not sure what you have hooked up where but on your remote at the top there are two buttons - one is labeled HD.S and other is SD.S - I do not have my remote handy but am going from memory. The HD.S button switches to the hi-def inputs and the sd.s switches to the standard definition inputs. Try pressing these and switch around until you see a signal again. You will need to let the input "stabilize" and the picture appear so when you switch inputs give it 10 seconds or so before moving on.

Daewoo DP42SM coloring missing blue tint on dvd playback only

I don't know are you familiar with electronic,if you are you can fix it by yourself. The problem is in video process board, the one in metal cage. What you need to do is to remove the board from the set, remove the cage, then to replace all SMD capacitors!!!And do not put SMD as replacement put the normal capacitors same values they can be fited. You should aslo replace capacitors at the PSU and check 170V,160V and 70V and adjust them after the replacement.PSU is easy part but the video board is tricky one but it can be done

HDMI connection problem

On your TV set remote are you selecting the proper input; for example when you have different devices connected to the back of your tv set, dvd player, vcr, cable box etc; you have to tell the tv which device you want to use by selecting the right one on your tv remove input selection. Hope this was any help.
