Kenmore side by side refrigerator

Ice maker is working but water dispenser is not. put in new filter checked fitting connection at sink, changed from a saddle connection to a three way connection still no water being dispensed. i also tried lowering my thermostat setting for both the freezer and refrigerator, need help. I have a Kenmore Coldspot Refrigerator Model #57572791 (1998). Water comes out the dispenser, but it is not making ice.

I have Kenmore Side by Side model 57572791 refrigerator. Ice maker and dispensing is working fine. The water dispensing unit is not working. Please advise. I have checked the water line and there is not problem. Also checked the tank inside the refrigerator and it is full.

There is valve for each right at the water inlet, your valve is stuck or your coil is bad......get a new valve.

My kenmore side by side is not making ice

when was the last time u change your water filter, if water is coming into the ice maker and it don,t make ice that means u have a defective ice maker, if no water comes into the ice maker check the water valve at the back of the refrigerator with an ohm meter for resistance if no resistance is present replace water valve,u should unplug water valve when checking

Ice maker doesn't work. changed filter. light on ice maker door still on.

You need probably to change the dispenser solenoids which swith water on dispenser

Sounds like the dual water inlet valve on the back where the water supply is connected, has gone bad and is leaking across to the other side. It may also put water into the ice maker when you use your dispenser.

Refrigerator dispenses ice, but does not dispense water?

Unfortunately, the housing that the water filter fits into is also the housing for the solenoid controlled water valve, and that is the most likely failure item.

Icemaker not making ice

If water is also not com out of dispenser then filter should be changed. If water dispenses but ice ice is not being made, the sensor arm or infrared sensor may be stuck or blocked. If sensor is OK then ice maker needs service.

Doble door kenmore new fiter water not working

While working withe filter assembly it is possible that you unplugged the dispenser electrical connection. I will need the Sears number for example 213.258978 to assist you better. Let me know
