This type of radio has a
H
button for setting the time.
You can set the time by following these steps:
1. Turn the ignition key to ACC/ACCESSORY or
ON/RUN. Press the
O
knob, located in the
center of the radio, to turn the radio on.
2. Press the
H
button until the hour begins flashing
on the display. Press the button a second time and
the minute begins flashing on the display.
3. While either the hour or the minute numbers are
flashing, turn the
f
knob, located on the upper
right side of the radio, clockwise or counterclockwise
to increase or decrease the time.
4. Press the
H
button again until the clock display
stops flashing to set the currently displayed time;
otherwise, the flashing stops after five seconds and
the current time displayed is automatically set.
To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour, press the
H
button and then the pushbutton
located under the forward arrow label. Once the
time 12H and 24H are displayed, press the pushbutton
located under the desired option to select the default.
Press the
H
button again to apply the selected default,
or let the screen time out

The symbol at the top left hand side of your display could be child lock symbol or vent symbol. If it is the child lock you should be able to press and hold the stop/cancel button down for 3 seconds to release the child lock.

If the light is on for the vent I would seek assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair to be completed on your microwave. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

The power switch of the Slate 2 is a 2-way switch.
The user can slide the switch towards the lock symbol to lock display from auto rotating. So move the switch away from the lock symbol.

do you have a button with a small padlock symbol?
yes hold for 10 seconds
no..do you have start button? press and hold for 5 seconds
no...how about a clear/off press and hold for a full 3 seconds.
Sorry I'm at home and the teck guides are not here. So I gave it what I know from memory.
last but not least try turning off the breaker to it for a minute.

Below the LCD there are two small buttons. Press and hold the button on the left (this is the CLOCK button) and then use the two tuning buttons to the right to adjust the time + and -.

This worked on my 04 CTS. This is a CTS without the GPS.

1) Turn key to On or Accy
2) Wait for the radio/clock display to load up.
3) Push the Tune/Select button at the lower right of the radio display. Nothing will appear to change.
4) There is a button to the right of the radio diplay with two horizontal lines on it. Push the lower of the two horizontal lines. The clock set option should appear.
5) Turn the Tune/Select button until the time is correct.
6) Push the Tune/Select button to lock the time in.

turn it to channel 3 then flip through the stations. if you dont have your cable hooked up to the tv hook it up and it should work fine.

Often those lock require a password that is by default "0000"

From a research i did, it seem it might be cleared by holding the diplay button on the remote for 10-15 seconds.
please specify your tv model number and are you getting a red lock symbol for further queries
