Have you tried more than 1 source? If this only happens with 1 source- if you're using component cables (green, blue, red) then make sure there is nothing wrong with it. Another thing that can cause this, is a component (RGB) device being plugged into a composite a/v input (yellow white and red).
If this fails, or if the problem is with all sources, the TV is the problem and probably won't be easy to diagnose or repair yourself.. I'd call the manufacturer if this is the case.

Problem with the Toshiba 50H13 50 in. Rear Projection Television. Green tint

The tubes have aged and the colour balance between the tubes has shifted. You will need to redo it using a black/white test image: first the black (the cutoff point), then the white (the gain) on each tube - always start with the green colour. This is done on the final video amplifier of each tube by adjusting the corresponding semiadjustable resistors.

There is a green tint to my screen. Seems to be more evident in dark shows and on shadows.

Pull the front speaker grille off and remove the access panel. In the customer menu turn the color off so you have a black and white picture. get a flashlight and adjust the screen controls for the red, green and blue tubes until you get a nice black and white picture. then turn the color back up.

Toshiba 65H14 is all green... Tint doesn't change it..

As TVs age, the rate at which the CRTs begin to decline in terms of light output increases. If you go into the customer menu and adjust the color setting to zero. ( no color) observe the image. Is it good gray scale? Or, is the image still green tinted? If so, its definitely a problem with the CRTs( picture tubes) You may need to just re-adjust the screen settings for the CRTs or it may be more serious, a CRT may be bad. Replacing the CRT is a job for an expert and will cost $500-700.

Sony KP-53V45 color issues

When ever a tube starts to short or is shorted set always will have over bearing drive lines then shut down like RED if it was bad, set would come on long enough for red lines across set then shut down this is the same with all 3 tubes. Also if you think it might be green tube disconnected green CRT board on neck of green tube if set comes on and plays then it is green tube do all 3 tube this way one at a time this will tell you if you have other problems.

Screen is now a weird color

The problem might be in the cable. Try to reconnect it to your machine. Also try to set your color settings on the monitor itself, so that all the colors are equal.

Red tint is gone

It sounds like the red cable on your component input is bad, one way to check this is press menu and see if the menu bars and letters are the right color. if they are then you may have a cable issue, if they are bad you may have a bad DG board in the unit. This will probably require a service technician. Hope this helps
