Loosen rear axle nut on right side of wheel. Adjust the belt tension using the axle nut on left side. This is welded to a cam and moves the entire wheel. Adjust it until belt deflects 1/4" to 5/16" travel at measurement point with 10 lbs pressure applied. Use belt tension gauge part number HD-35381A. Snug the nut to 15 - 20 ft/lbs while adjusting. After correct tension is achieved tighten nut to 95 - 105 lbs/ft. Check tension after torquing.

SOURCE: how do you adjust the

You don't. It's controlled electronically by the crank position sensor in the front of the engine case. This sends a timing pulse to the ECM and it sets the timing. Now, the dealer may be able to adjust the timing but the owner is not unless you have installed a "break out box".

There is no adjustment. The lever and the pivot pin are worn and should be replaced. Check the amount of up and down play in the lever and you'll probably have play there as well. If this isn't it, it's the front brake master cylinder that has the problem and it needs rebuilding.

I own a 2007 Harly Davidson Street Glide with the motor running n I am in 1st or 2nd gear I let off the gass I get a noise n when I engage the clutch the noise goes away

I'm not sure what you mean by "engage the clutch". If you mean when you pull the clutch lever, the noise goes away, I'd check the tension on my final drive belt. If the belt is loose, when the engine tries to slow the motorcycle down, the final drive belt tries to rise up off of the front belt pulley making it rub the underside of the starter to inner primary housing. When you pull the clutch lever in, you disengage the engine from the transmission and the engine breaking force is removed from the front pulley and the belt goes back down on the pulley.

Good Luck
