    I recently bought a 1HF50D for a rig's galley. Unfortunately the PC Board burned out in less the half a year. What is the replacement part number for the PC Board and what could be the cause of the burnout?

Just to give a little more info,the link kstfas gave you is the operation and installation manuals with a little troubleshooting ideas.hobart does not give out their service manuals.however you can get a parts manual.hope this helps

    Bummer, Your right bigg t, Isn't not an option there. I believe that if you contact Hobart and ask for a service tech they would help you troubleshoot it and give you the part numbers you need. Will probably also sell you a service manual if you explain your situation to them. Good luck. I apologize for not investigating further.

My 1.5 Liter Deep Fryer did not come with an instruction booklet. Can I please be sent one or are the instructions on a site?

Enter your model number and download the manual in th right column where it says manual.

The model number I listed is for the 2 qt fryer. You will need to enter your model number on the left side at center page to bring up your manual.

I tried using Model number F1045 which should be the 1.5 liter model and it says not found. You can call them here:

HOBART FRYER CK20
Most likely solution is to replace the reset. If the new reset trips, check the amperage on the elements. At 208V all three phases should be around 47A, 480V around 20A each. Check all wiring connectors for good connections and no evidence of corrosion or overheating.

Label says propane, needs to run on natural gas.

The element will show infinite resistence if defective. Overload switch.....Do you mean High Limit T/Stat? Use your ohm meter across terminals- should read closed circuit...0 ohms. If not, push red reset button...if clicks once, is now reset and contactors will close and unit will heat. If always clicks, replace limit t/stat Like wise, check themostat--should click once for heat demand and check cicuit same as limit t/stat. May have wire burned off terminal connector at element.
