cuisinart blender red light flashing but Questions & Answers ...
If this is a Kitchen Aid blender with the flashing lights then you will need to remove the motor base cover and check the motor for a circuit. If it is open circuit then either replace the motor or locate the thermal fuse (under some white tape and aluminium clip on one of the field windings) and either replace or bypass fuse if it is open circuit.
My Blender Model number KSB560MCO does not run. When try to blend all of red lights come one and they blink and move around. Any suggestions what could be wrong? Appreciate any help. Thanks
Same thing happened to me. Opened it up and along the red wire to the motor is a bass fuse. Went to the hardware store and then I replaced it. Works fine.
The piece that you need is referred to as the coupler. The coupler is a breakway part that is designed to shear and/or wear down in the event that the blender is overloaded. This is to avoid damage to the motor.
The coupler may be purchased individually and is an easy repair that can be done at home. You may purchase the part and access step-by-step replacement instructions at the following link:
When the lights are flashing, this does indicate that an electronic
part has failed. This blender is no longer manufactured, so finding
replacement parts for it may not come easily. Repair centers are
available.
This error was probably not caused by replacing the coupler, but merely coincidence.

If this is not helpful, I would recommend calling Kitchenaid Customer Service to see what they can recommend for you.
Alternating blinking lights on a Kitchenaid blender indicate a bad
circuit board which is unable to run the motor properly. Unplug the
blender, take the jar off, and turn the spindle by hand. Then plug it
back in. If it does not work properly, try a different outlet (perhaps
not in the kitchen). If nothing works, the blender needs to be
repaired.
