All water is absorbed by small number of towels or sheets. They don't really get clean and come out stiff even using fabric softener (which was never needed with old top-loader which could wash multiple sets just fine). What determines the "automatic" amount of water? Is it a fixed amount? If so, how much is it? There are no error codes, no mold, no clogs. Had it serviced and was told it works just fine.
Push the 'water plus' button to add more water to your load
There are pressure switches (weighs the tub) connect to the tub... towels and sheets hold more water and therefor weigh more.. try washing less pieces and see if that helps..
This is another example of our government knowing whats best for us!! I have to wash two or three more loads.. and THEN rinse and spin each to get them clean.. I use A LOT more water this way...
oh well...
SOURCE: lg wm2277h has low water level
The water level is very low on front load machines. (Below the bottom of the door) While the washer is running, push and hold the "spin speed" and "soil level" buttons at the time. Display should be between 230 and 255.(normal) If you do this while the machine is filling, you will see the numbers change. This machine only uses about 12 gallons of water for an entire cycle, vs. about 45 for some top loading machines. THIS IS NORMAL ! The machine will adjust the amount of water based on the type and volume of clothes in your washer. On a large load, you will see wet clothes, but no water sloshing around. PS. Because the machine uses so little water, make sure you use only one tablespoon of HE detergent (and only one teaspoon of fabric softner if you use it). This is very important.

The water overfills due to a faulty water valve. The valve needs to be replaced.

Put another filter on before the washer. Try to find out if it is in the hot water or the cold. If it is the cold try a filter. If it is the hot, replace your hot water tank.

Hi,
Already answered by an expert :-
This a common problem for all front loaders. Your washer will not drain
or work 'cause your outlet filter is clogged or an unusually heavy
load. The small door is on the left side front bottom of your washer.
Remove the door with a putty knife or thin butter knife inserted in the
middle top of the access panel door. Drain the water from the filter
housing by pulling the tube out of the clip and unplugging, allow it to
run into a bucket while the machine is in spin only mode. This mode is
acheived when the washer is first powered on press the spin button
until no spin is reached then run. Run in this mode until no water is
draining from the tube in the bucket. Keep the tube as low as possible.
When water has stopped coming out of the tube turn off the washer and
unplug from the wall. This step is important because this resets the
fault. Expect some water to come out when you open the filter housing
by turning counterclockwise until you can pull the filter from its
housing. Clean out your filter, return to housing turning clockwise
until seated and recap the tube and place in the holder, refit the
cover and plug back into the wall. Fixed. You may also need to lighten
the load a bit but I always try full on load anyways. If it fails again
just lighten, unplug wait >1 minute then replug and run.
Thanks.

Hi,
No you just need to get the drain hose up higher...the water is siphoning out and is either caused by the end of the drain hose still in water and not having an air gap or the hose is not going up higher then the top of your washer...
Lifting the hose up should give you an air gap and get the hose high enough to stop the siphoning...
