SOURCE: Acer aspire one not booting
your laptop has been turned off without shutting down. all your laptops registries are probably messed up. the easiest way to do is to reformat your computer or restore it to factory settings. unless you have some important files that you cant afford to lose.
SOURCE: Aspire ZG5 Won't Complete Boot Process
Hello Dzaitz,
A description of the error message: http://aumha.org/a/stop.php#0x21a
Basically, Windows' security has been compromised - so it won't work until you fix the security issue.
The
"0xc0000005" part means that the error occurred in your memory. Most
likely this was either caused by the power outage or malware. If the
power outage caused it, there may be other damage that isn't obvious at
this point.
Since you can't boot into Windows, your choices are a bit limited.
First, I'd suggest that you run this free, bootable memory diagnostic: http://www.memtest86.com/
As
a "just to be sure" measure, I'd also run a free, bootable hard drive
diagnostic (available at the support website for the manufacturer of
your hard drive).
If you pass those 2 tests, then I'd suggest a
repair installation of Windows XP. If you have Internet Explorer 7
installed, read this first: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=917964. Then the instructions for the repair install are located here: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
Post back with any more questions or comments for additional assistance. Thank you for choosing Fixya!
SOURCE: Computer randomly shuts down in Safe Mode only
I can't think of any reason why you would want to run in safe mode except if the computer crashes your system. If you have a heat problem in safe mode it is shutting down to protect you CPU and GPU which are two things you won't want to replace. If you are over clocking you CPU that could cause this problem as the power management system is not active in Windows when you run safe mode. If your system is under warranty and you are concerned about this problem ask them to do a warranty repair. If it's not under warranty you can take it to Best buy and explain the problem and ask for a PC health check. Last I heard they were still doing those for free. At this point though I would avoid running the PC in Safe Mode

If the BIOS does not detect the hard drive, the computer won't boot up because the Windows operating system is on the hard disk. You can download the drivers from the Acer WEB site using a different computer and then install them on your notebook. Make sure you
select the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers you
that require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on your
laptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -
Try re-seating the hard drive to make sure it makes proper connection, when you boot up again and the hard drive is not detected then most likely the hard drive has failed.
To get the Acer operating again, replace the hard drive, install Windows and the Acer device drivers plus your programs.
