Here are few steps to resolve kindle won't connect to wifi issue:

  1. Re-connect The Network: Try to solve your problem by reconnecting the network. There would be some common issues that interrupt your network connectivity but easily get sorted out by just reconnecting. First, press the wifi icon and then you look for your network, have you found it? Great, now disconnect and reconnect it.
  2. Remove The Barriers: If there are any barriers like- almirah, wall, curtains or even a person, then either remove them or replace your device, as you like and comfort you. Barriers do not allow the network to pass properly, it unstable the network. So, just consider this point and take action.
  3. Check The Airplane Mode: If you do not know then let us clarify to you that when the Airplane mode is turned on then your network automatically gets turned off. So, check the Airplane mode, make sure it would be off.
  4. Check The Battery Status: Do you know the low battery also leads to network issues? To run the network smoothly and properly without any hurdles, charge your Kindle properly.
  5. Restart The Kindle: If you followed all the above steps properly and are still facing the Kindle fire not connected to the wifi issue then just restart your device once. There are some internal issues that may get solved instinctively on their own. So, just turn off your Kindle, wait for 1 or 2 minutes, and then again turn the Kindle on.

I hope these steps will give you relief from this issue quickly. If still you are facing this issue then check out this article https://ebookhelpline.com/kindle-wont-connect-to-wi-fi-issue/
This will help you.

SOURCE: `kindle fire

Sounds like your power cord is dead and that it's not charging. If it's new bring it back to the store you bought it from and get a new one.

Iconnected to another wifi and now it wont connect to my home wifi help

First, make sure you are not in airplane mode (this shuts down the wifi).

Then ensure you are not connected to any wifi routers - if yes, then disconnect.

Finally, let the Kindle search for your wifi.
