I have LG refrigerator LSC27950, there is ice in the icemaker& when I press the lever I hear humming noise for water and clicking noise for ice, but no ice or water are dispensing?

The error code dH on your LG refrigerator is indicating a water supply problem. This could be caused by a few different issues:
  1. Clogged or frozen water line: The water line supplying the icemaker and water dispenser may be clogged or frozen. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Check the water line and make sure that it is not clogged or frozen.
  2. Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve that supplies water to the ice maker and dispenser may be faulty or clogged. This can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. You can check the water inlet valve and make sure it is functioning properly or if it is clogged.
  3. Water filter: A clogged water filter can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. If your refrigerator has a water filter, make sure that it is not clogged and has been replaced recently.
  4. Water pressure: If the water pressure is too low, it can prevent water from flowing to the icemaker and dispenser. Make sure that the water pressure in your refrigerator is adequate.
You should first try to check the water line, water inlet valve, water filter, and water pressure. If none of these solutions work, please contact a professional technician or LG customer service to diagnose and fix the problem.

Kenmore coldspot model 106.511.23 211 water not dispensing.

Check the water supply line behind the unit if possible disconnect after closing supply valve.Turn the supplyvalve back on holding the line and use sink or bucket to catch the water coming out.If you observe competent flow reattach water line and trace out between back and dispensor searching for impedements insupply route.

Kenmore coldspot model 5155 2101 we just replaced the ice maker. I can fill it with water, it freezes and dumps but does not refill. the water dispenser on the door works fine

From what you are stating this is a dispenser refrigerator with 1ce/water through the door. This type refrigerator has a dual sided water inlet valve. It looks like the half that fills the icemaker may be bad or may have the power connector that came loose. This is the part on the back that the house water line connects to. It should 2 wires going to each of the 2 coils (total 4 wires). If wires are connected, I would say 1 coil is bad and the valve needs replaced. Since you already replaced the icemaker that rules that problem out.

I have a kenmore coldspot side by side water comes out dispenser but there is no water flow up to ice maker, also just replaced dual water celanoid

Hello, so you just replaced the water inlet valve correct? Here is a video on how to test the icemaker by removing the cover of the icemaker and connecting the L to the V water should immediatley come from the water inlet valve to the ice tray. If it did not and you heard the water valve actuate then there would be an issue with the icemaker in the unit. click this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlYCJr9dc3E if you have any further questions message me back Thanks

Icemaker not working

The ice maker valve is a dual one. with 2 solenoids. One solenoid operates the water and the other the ice maker. So if the water works that don't mean the ice maker supply is ok. The ice maker itself controls the flow of water. So if the water valve is ok then the ice maker is faulty. I have repair photos HERE

Kenmore Coldspot #106.9750610. Icemaker does not

restricted water flow or pressure from house water where your taped into. your shut off or Tap a line may be cloged or if you have a water filter its cloged. It could also be a bad water valve in rear of refrig. start at the sourse of water and work back to frig. A rare thing could be that the timing gear on the ice maker is burnt and not trigering valve long enough to fill icemaker

WATER DISPENSER NOT WORKING

It might be that you have a restriction at the water supply line serving the fridge. Check it for good flow (have bucket and towels handy!) If supply line is good, then move onto the fridge to check the water inlet valve(s). as newer models have 2 or 3 inlet valves, a main water valve for the entire unit, and possibly one each for the ice maker and water dispenser past the main inlet valve (solinoid).

You can check these by simply shutting off the main supply to the fridge from the house water line 1st, and then removing each water line from the supply side of the fridge and seeing if you have water flow from the house to the valve side. If you do, then reconnect the lines to the fridge valves and see if you can get water flowing to the other side of the solinoid/valve when you have someone try to get a glass of water from the water dispenser, etc.

It is possible that there is an obstruction in the lines, by not very likely. Normally it is a failed water valve(s) (solinoid) that causes low flow or complete loss of flow, especially if you've changed the fridge water filter or replaced it with the "cap" which eliminates filtering of the water.

It is that you'll likely have to replace at least one, maybe more, of the fridge inlet water valves. If you have the time, try to zero in on the failed one by bypassing each, one at a time, until you get water flow. That way, you'll only have to purchase just the replacement valve needed to get things working again.

Kenmore Coldspot w/Ice Maker Not Making Ice

hi LOP7,
In most cases you can easily solve this problem.
step one would be to make sure your freezer is getting cold enough. If you have icecream in your freezer is it frozen solid or is it soft. Most icemakers cycle around 0 degrees and if your freezer is not getting to 0 then it will not cycle and it will not make ice.
Step two would be to make sure you icemake is cycling. To do this simply lift the little shut off arm on your icemaker and wait about an hour then go back to the icemaker and drop the arm down. The icemaker should start going through a cycle. You should notice the arm slowly begin to raise and the ice dispencer fingers will begin to turn. Then you will hear it call for water. You may hear a humm.
If the freezer is cold enough and the icemaker is cycling that only leaves the inlet valve. replace the valve and enjoy the ice.
If the freezer is cold enought and the icemaker does not cycle, then you have a bad icemaker. Simply replace the icemaker and viola.
Third if the freezer is not cold enought 0 defrees. Then you may have a defrost problem. In this case post more info and I will be happy to help. Good luck [email protected]
