The logs are cached instead of being immediately written into the log files on the CF card. The S9700 supports two methods to write the logs:
1, On S9700, the cache can store 33 KB logs. When the cache is full, the logs are written into the log file on the CF card.
2, You can also store logs to the CF card manually. That is, run the save logfile command in the user view. The information in the cache can be immediately written into the log file on the CF card. http://www.thunder-link.com/S9706_p832.html
Sometimes this is an error that goes away when you specifically connect to the store to purchase music or videos. It might be helpful to log out of your account (Account menu --> Sign Out) and log back in. If you also have an iPhone, you might want to log out of all devices; then restart them; then log in again.

I had the same problem when I got my watch. It was resolved with help user manual on the page 72.
Conditions for Storing Log Data in Memory> • The log number and log data are stored in memory when the watch remains at a depth of more than 1 m (4 ft) for 3 minutes or more, or it remains at a depth of more than 8 m (27 ft) for 1 minute or more.
ASA's log is usualy stored localy on ASA itself, so easiest way to export that log is to go with telnet/ssh/console on it, do a command : show logging and copy/paste output into a new file.
but beware - this log is really short and as soon as ASA is rebooted - it's gone.
you could set asa to log to a syslog server (free on linux/freebsd or for windows use KIWI app).
that way all ASA log output is stored on pc/server running your syslog server.
The router does store the information in itself. The router has a small region for storing information on operations and logs. That log might be accessible from the router's control panel. However, every router is different and therefore I can't guarantee that your router will allow you to view its log.
Most likely the router will store the log in the same area used to store the Router's firmware. This is a relatively small storage chip with just enough space to support the firmware of the router, the router's control panel source files, and the log.
Let me know if I can explain anything mentioned above in more detail or if I can assist you with anything else.
