remove the pump and throw it away. Buy a better designed pump on eBay. just search your pressure washer model number or the obsolete rebuild kit part number a14292 you'll find the better pump.
Yes, the manufacturer should have a parts kit for replacing the orings and seals..it's probably leaking right where the motor meets the impeller...there should be a seal inside there...the rebuild kit should have a blow-up diagram to assist you in changing parts
There are no rebuilding kits per say. Rebuilding a motor entails stripping it down and replacing what's bad. whole inside should be cleaned of debris, dust, rust etc. Almost always bearing are replaced. Armature, rotor and stator are cleaned, motor windings tested, start/run caps tested and replaced as necessary. Thermal overload, contactor, relay, centrifugal switch, etc, tested and replaced if needed. You can order bearings and capacitors from several places online, other parts can be harder to find. I local pump repair shop may sell you parts as well.
The pump is bad and needs to be replaced. you have done all the test. On the Briggs they do have kits to rebuild the pump on your system you can just go to there website and get the rebuild kit. It is safer to go through them because they have jsut started producing the rebuild kits, and other companies have tried to copy them, but there kits are worthless. Please rate
you will need to remove the door panel and then locate the window motor. Before you buy a new one check and see if there is a rebuild kit for these,90% of fords power window motors are rebuildable and the kit only costs $15.00 compared to $70.00.You will need a screw gun or drill to drill the poprivets out that hold the motor in place.the motor will drop out.
I have had the same problem everyone else has had with these pumps. I did serious research on these pumps and came up with a rebuild kit some parts bought some I make. I did mine 2 years ago and still working like a champ and have done over 20 locally with no problems. If your pump is noisy or the impeller has fallen off (typical) due to water getting in the unit and causing the bearings to fail email me and I can rebuild your pump. The process is simple send me the pump I will look at it and see if it can be rebuilt at NO CHARGE if it can be rebuilt you will save over 60% of a new one. Don't spend $349 - $599 on a new one let me look at it for free if I can rebuild it great if not you will have to buy a new one. I am not a dealer for any pumps so you will not have to worry about me selling you a pump and if you want the old one back pay the shipping and it it all yours.
