Model253-44392402 refrigerator need manual to show water hook up directions

Contact the maker direct. This doesn't appear to be a North American Product. If it is supposed to be refrigerated it may be low on refrigerant gas or it may be an electronic process that uses a heat sink and fan. The words 'HP water dispenser' shows there may be more than one model. All question need full 'make model (what is is)'.

Yes the filter is only available on some models. This is noted in the manual next to the part description: Part 14 Water Filter (on some models).

I have a slightly different refrigerator but the same problem. It says white line, but the white line is attached to the fridge on both ends and the blue line is not. Also the instructions do not actually look like the refrigerator so that is no help. No probelm installing a filter or the waterline to my water, but now I can't get it into the fridge.

yes you need a filter for the water system to work. ther is a check valve built into the filter housing..

You should only need one water line to feed the water and ice maker with domestic water.

The water valve is on the back of the refrigerator. The water line connects directly to that valve. If there is no line available then you will need to run one from a cold water line in the plumbing using a drill type (1/4") saddle valve on that pipe. Hope this helps.
