Black screen

If you know your monitor works then the likely culprit is the on-board video could be bad. If you can give me the model # of your computer or if it's a custom computer, the model # of your motherboard, I can let you know what kind of video card your computer takes and what brands to stay away from.

Good luck and hope this helps. If it does, please vote! Thanks!

Where can I get a manual for a sempron ht 1600 mainboard

Well Ron the first thing you do, is see if there is a motherboard manufacturer name, on the motherboard.

I believe that would be ECS.
Elitegroup Computer Systems

Problem here is, Sempron HT 1600 refers to an AMD Sempron processor.
HT stands for HyperTransport
1600 stands for 1600MegaHertz. (1600MHz)

Isn't actually the Model Number of the motherboard.
To wit;

This guy thinks it's an ECS HT 1600.
Because ECS is on the aluminum Heatsink for the Northbridge chip, and HT 1600 is silkscreened at the Top of the motherboard. (Above the CPU socket)

Those are mobo's (MOtherBOard), that will support an AMD Sempron CPU, and with one that has a 1600MHz FSB.
(1600MegaHertz Front Side Bus)

Even if we do find the exact motherboard you have, it was probably made by ECS for a pre-built computer manufacturer, (HP, Acer, Gateway, etc), and there won't be a motherboard manual.

It isn't an O.E.M. motherboard made by ECS.

HOWEVER, don't give up on me yet.
Once I can SEE the motherboard, I may be able to find pinouts for the motherboard. (May not also)

Do you know the computer manufacturer name, and Model Number; of the desktop computer it came out of?
Usually the motherboard manufacturer and model number, is listed on the computer manufacturer's support website.

We'll use that information.

[Model number is on the back of the computer, next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower ]

You didn't state the motherboard manufacturer, and model number.

Or the computer manufacturer and model number.

Desktop computer model number is on the back, next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower.
Laptop model number is on the Bottom.

Will hdz965fbgmbox processor work with ami po1-ao mobo

AMI is American Megatrends Inc.

A BIOS program company. (Basic Input/Output System)

AMI po1-ao is one of AMI's BIOS programs.

Used on a LOT of desktop computers, and consequently several different motherboards.

How about the motherboard manufacturer, and model number; or computer manufacturer, and model number? Model number is on the back of the computer next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower.

I have no drivers........

Hi there,
Is this a custom built pc or a branded computer?
If it's branded can you please tell if it's a DELL, HP, Acer, Lenovo, Asus, etc. and don't forget to include the model number.
Because these big computer manufacturers have the drivers available for download on their website.
If it's a custom build computer please provide the exact model of your motherboard so we can find the necessary drivers for it.

I reinstall my pc yesterday but i cannot see my motherboard driver so i cannot use it properly. my lan, audio, and other device are not functioning.

Windows has default drivers for most mother boards, at least ones to get the base functions operational. after the operating system is installed you can run you motherboard disk for all specific drivers that will control your LAN, audio, etc. most retail PCs come with a recovery disk which nowadays is pretty much push and go. good luck. post the PC brand and model for more system specific solutions.
