Thank you for your post, campy chaney!
I understand that your Frigidaire washer is displaying an error code of "PAV". "PAV" is not a valid error code, your washer maybe displaying a "PAU" error code. It could be a possible issue with a low light on your LED panel. If it is a "PAU" code that could be an interruption within your cycle. I would suggest performing a reset on your washer and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. When you restore power to your washer and continue receiving the "PAU" code I would suggest having a professional technician out. This could be a possible problem with your control panel, door latch, or door strike. Since it could be anyone of these underlying having a technician out would help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
I appreciate your post, Josh Orenstein!
From my understanding your Frigidaire washer is displaying "PAU" and "E41". "PAU" normally displays when there is an interruption to the cycle and "E41" means the main control board thinks the door switch is open. Either code can display due to a faulty door latch assembly, door strike, or main control board. You can attempt to perform a factory reset by holding down the Start/Pause button and Select button until a signal sounds. Also review the door latch and strike to see if there is any visible damage that could cause a short within the components. If there is no visible damage you may want to consult with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair of your washer. Hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt
Hi friend, thanks for your inquiry!
If your washer continues to display an error code of "PAU" it could be an issue with your door lock but if the door strike is not sitting properly within the latch your washer will continue to provide the error code "PAU". Additionally, if your control panel is registering that the door is closed you may continue to experience the "PAU" code. I would recommend having a professional come and properly diagnosis your washer to prevent any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this is helpful. -OOS
Hey friend, thanks for your inquiry!
I see off your post your Frigidaire washer is showing a "PAU 12" code. Typically "PAU" stands for pause which means the cycle has been interrupted. I would open and close the door to assure that there is a proper connection between the door strike and door latch. If you check that and still receive the "PAU" I would recommend a reset, which can be done by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Hi leonard I need more information from you to help. Can you please add details in the comment box? When does it say pau ? PAU is PAUSE. In the rinse cycle? Main wash cycle?
Can not turn it on while the "pau" is on. How much do you charge to repair it?
