Cannot remove battery pack from scooter.

Do you mean a charger plugged in for four months ? or the battery pack on the scooter for four months ? if it not charging and left on the scooter they will discharge and may never recover.

Leaving it on charge for four months ?, the charger will go into trickle charge mode once it fully charged the batteries, manufacturers will agree this is a good thing , if left for weeks and weeks , it should be charged up fully once a week if not in use and i recommend removing the battery case as i seen issues arise from leaving a battery pack on a scooter for long periods of time, for starters they discharge quicker,.

it depends what scooter you have ? some have on board charging ( thee will be a hole somewhere on it to plug in the charger ) look for removable covers.. some scooters dont have them on board so you have to unplug the connection to the battery pack and the charger will plug into the connection attached to the battery's

Hi. There are no locking devices on the GoGo Elite Traveller series of scooter. The Battery pack simply lifts off. However, they can be very tight and sometimes require a sharp tug upwards to remove them.

You can charge the batteries with your offboard charger and the battery pack still on the scooter just plug the charger into the charger port on the side of the battery case and then plug it into the wall socket and charge overnite Will work just like if you removed the battery pack from the scooter. Keith You have to remove the seat from the scooter and then lift the battery pack out of the frame. On the front of the battery pack there should be a charger port where you can plug in the charger into the battery pack when you are inside. Plug your charger into the battery pack first then plug it into the receptacle. When fully charged unplug from the receptacle first then unplug it from the battery pack. In other words always have the charger unplugged from the power when plugging and unplugging it from the battery pack. Velcro is holding the pack down so you might have to give it a good yank to get it off the frame. Hope this helps

Charge the batteries fully and remove the battery pack from the scooter. About once a month charge the battery pack. It shouldn't take long to charge since you are not using the scooter Don't overcharge when the light on the charger turns green turn it off and unplug it from the battery pack. This should keep the batteries fully charged and fresh when FIL gets back home. Hope this helps you

Rachel you need 2 12/12AH batteries that are located in the battery pack under the seat. Simply pull the battery pack from the scooter and with a standard phillips screwdriver remove the many screws attaching the battery pack together (simply turn the pack over to get to the screws) There will be two wire on each battery and also a heat sensor attached to the side of one battery remove the wires from each battery and carefully reove the heat sensor. You can bring one of the batterys to your local battery warehouse type store or a provider and purchase 2 new ones reinstall like you removed attaching red wire to red terminals and black to black terminals and reattach the heat sensor to the side of one battery (you can use packaging tape to reattach). replace all the screws to put the case back together and reinstall in your scooter. Charge the batteries with you charger until the charge light is green then happy riding HOPE THIS HELPS

First make sure the scooter is off.
Unscrew and take off the deck
Unplug and remove the old battery pack
Put the new battery pack in and plug it in, using the same connection as the old batteries pack.
Screw the deck on and your done!
Oh, and make sure you give the battery a good charge(the full charging time). The first charge of a battery is the most important one.

We have had problems with scooter batteries from time to time and the repair man said to take apart the battery case and disconnect the batteries and use a car charger. I put the two battery in parallel and used a amp battery charger. This worked fine.
Don't run your scooter batteries all the way down when using the Go Go as the scooter charger won't always bring them up to full charge and you may have repeat this. Also running the batteries all the way down shortens there life.

You can't do it with a car battery charger as it takes a 24 volt charger and it has to be designed to charge the sealed batteries that go in scooters and power chairs or you will blow the batteries up!

Order another battery case and swap the battery packs on the scooter with the spare pack once a week. Sealed batteries do not store well and need to be charged fully at least once a month to ensure long life. These batteries aren't cheap, and it's worth keeping them in shape.
