SOURCE: Can you Help me unclog

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Epson pm235 printing problem one colour is mising .. cloged head... or cartridge assembly.

if saying color is missing will more than likely have to put in a new or partialy used cartridge for that color - you could try and run any options you may have for cleaning heads/nozzle checks and printing reports to see quality of the printing

I just put a new ink cartridge in and it's printing in blue streaks after several tries. What do I do?

Remove the cartridge
Take a cloth or paper towel and lightly dampen with warm, distilled water.
Fold the towel in half twice and hold in the fingers of one hand
With your other hand, gently "Blot" the cartridge by pressing the printhead into the towel a few times.
Insert the cartridge back in.... Try this!! hope it works!

Even with a new cartridge it says empty cartridge and won't print

are you using a generic ink cartridge? and just for added information, picturemate cartridges or so some epson inks do have expiration dates, pls check because if you have them stored for quite sometime the tendency is that the inks will harden up. then it will not distribute ink to your nozzle.

another thing troubleshooting steps, have you tried to perform a cleaning cycle? try to do it for about 4 or 5 times. then try to print. pls be advised that it will take in a certain amount of inks to clear the cloggs and force it out.

or before installation of the cartridge, did you shake them? for about 5 times then insert it back

Epson PictureMate - can't clean all nozzles & Error P

Many times head cleaning will throw much ink away. 1 time about 10% of ink. After meny times head cleaning, ink will out, and need replacement. May be after head cleaning nozzle is ok, but after replacement, printer do ink charge. It may be distrub the flow of ink at head. Is the cartridge new?. Use CISS for continuity printing.

Hello! I don't use my Epson PictureMate as often

That is a problem with the Ink jet printers. Lack of use causes the cartridges/heads, etc. to dry up. You're only solution (I'm afraid) is to replace them.
TIP: If you're typically not using the printer for several days or even week(s) at a time, it never hurts to print a single (low coverage) page of colour every few days just to keep the ink flowing

Ink Cartridge

Some of Epson's cartridges went bad that way. It may be a bad cartridge. Get a new one, pull that one out and see what happens. If it works, call Epson for a refund. They had a class action suit for that type of thing, they lost and paid off. I would think they will help you right away.

Message that cartridge is empty, insert a new cartridge.

Hi-

so you mean thats the replacement cartridge and after printing 10 prints it is now saying you have to change it, chances are that is a defective ink cartridge, you should get more prints from that replacement, here's what, call epson technical support at 562-276-1300 and have your proof of purchase ready and complain on this, they will send you a replacement, i mean they should. now if its going to happen on the replacement ink cart, that after 10 prints and it will say its empty then thats an issue with the printer already. update me regarding on it, but for now my best advice is to call epson. Have a nice day!!
