SOURCE: need instructions for changing a drive belt on a John Deere LT155

I have googled LT155 and came upon john deere LT155 lawn tractor(noncurrent). It took me to John Deere's site. I put in your model number and it had several catagories. I would try the alphabetical list, go to B and look for traction belt.
Good day.

SOURCE: have a john deere lawn tractor. Blade will not

Check both belts on deck. Check if the clutch is clicking in. If not it will most likely need a new pto switch.

The first 2355 was sold in 1987.

They were manufactured from 1987 to 1992. With a BHP of 55.4 Hp

The serial number you gave ...is that an ESN or TSN?

You can contact John Deere here and ask them the date yours was made.

SOURCE: john deere 300 garden tractor hydrostatic drive will not work

check two things, make sure the by-pass rod is pushed all the way in and the drive belt from the engine to the rear end (tranaxle). If both check out ok do not attempt to service the tranaxle at home. have thet serviced by a dealer.

If there is no resistance at pedal then most likely the rod (20) that connects the pedal bracket to the transmission arm (12) and motion damper (16) has detached. See attached photo.

John Deere 430 lawn tractor hydrostatic transmission will not work in forward or reverse even with no weight on the axle. New filter and oil did not fix. What should I check next?

Some have a procedure for "burping" air from the hydraulic system. Changing engine oil and filter won't affect it- independent system.
