SOURCE: router unable to acquire ip address

logon into your router through n/w interface first (ethernet not wireless) using the default IP assignment of the router. Now you can manually assign an I/P to it.

Theres no need to setup for the nat but please check the wan interface and subnet mask ip it has to something else and not 255.255.255.252..Try 255.255.255.240 it must work...

think this should help you.
But if you want my expertise, make the tp-link as a router and vdsl just the internet line. connect it to router wan and buy a switch for all your devices.That should be the safest and smartest way.

Please check the side or bottom of the extender for the steps to update it's wifi signal. If not there, then please visit the extenders ip address through a computer connected to your home internet network, there might be a control page for the extender there. Unable to connect for setup
It could be that some other wireless device has the same IP address as the Zyxel AP. If you have not changed the Zyxel's default IP address 192.168.1.2 , I would recommend it. Try something like 192.168.1.100

How to configure TP Link router connected to Thomson TWG850-4 ?
have you got two dhcp servers running ?
turn off dhcp server in wireless router
and use the one in the Thomson TWG850-4 Residential Voice Gateway.
make sure ip address in wireless router is different to the Thomson TWG850-4 Residential Voice Gateway. make it one higher on last digit of ip address
make sure dhcp does not lease out this ip address.

Your IP address 192.168.1.2 is a Local IP address. Local(Computer) IP address ranges from 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255, 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255, 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255. Normally you can login the Local IP address within a single building (or) campus using LAN. If you need to access around the world, it should be a Public(Network) IP address. To check your Network IP address, visit IP-details.com .

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

Log in to router via browser at: 192.168.1.1
At login and password promt enter
login: admin
password: admin

Navigate from left pane: Advanced setup -> LAN
Enter there you'r new ip: 192.168.2.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

How to get the IP address to set my wireless
get the wifi signal detected by powering the wifi fro the laptopo

get connected to it (wifi)

go to>start>run>white cmd> write ipconfig/all>press enter

you will get the ip addresses of the wi fi router

give your laptop wifi card the ip address in the wifi router sequence

e.g. if wifi addresses:193.168.1.1

then your nonebook ip may be193.168.1.2

etc
