Prolectrix Soup Maker. My soup maker didn't heat the soup up?

Question edited for clarity.

That is likely a failed heating element, failed thermostat, or worse case scenario, a failed control board.

Does anyone have experience of the Russell Hobbs soup maker

It makes cold soups like Gazpacho and Vichyssoise, so make sure the heating / cooking function is set.

If it is, ask Russel Hobbs where your local service centre is to diagnose and replace the element.

After starting the microwave, I get a "F-7" message on the display and it shuts down. What can I do to fix this? This is a whirlpool model # GH5184XPS-4.

hello,

what this error means indicate is as follow

The F-7 error code indicates that the water or oil (any liquid form) temperature sensor reading is out of range (below 23 degrees F or above 217 degrees F).

what you need to do to fix up your is to do general cleaning up on your oven both internal and external do this with care and allow it to dry up it self.

please when doing this you will have to put off any form of power supply connected to the oven .

thank you and thanks for using fixya.

Oven appears to remain on after the baking process is finished. It is a brand new Frigidaire double oven and we have just used it for the first time.

What is staying on? If you are hearing a fan staying on, don't worry about it. Some ovens have a cooling fan that continues to run until the oven cools down below a certain temperature.

My GE dryer was making some squeaking sound and now the heat does not work and clothes are not getting dry

Check the dryer dual-breakers in the house electrical panel--push off, then on. If no help, check for ~230 volts AC at the two slanted slots in the dryer power socket. If ok, the problem is likely the heating element(s) in back of the drum are burned out or the internal thermostat is open. To remove the drum, remove the top (push a thin putty knife rearward at each front corner to release latches) and then the front panel. The belt must be released (from inside the lower back) and the rear center screws of the drum removed. When the drum is removed, it gives access to the elements and temp control switches. Be sure to vacuum out all air passages and wash the lint filter in hot water and detergent to remove fabric softener deposits. Don't forget the air exit hose to the outside. Replace the belt on reassembly if heat damaged or badly worn. Hope this helps!
