Bosch Axxis WTA 3510. Hi temp thermal switch blowing often (having to take off the back and reset the red switch). At first it appeared that the screen was plugged by a white film (I suspect from dryer sheets), and after a good cleaning the unit workoed well for a while, but is now again switching off every few loads. Is there somewhere else I should check? there doesn't appear to be a blockage in the vent system, nor much lint inside the unit! Is there perhaps a sensor that is dirty?

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. No Heat issue in an electric dryer is usually caused due to three things mainly: Thermal Fuse, Wiring Harness and/or Heating Element. Start with checking the Thermal Fuse which is mounted inside the back cover panel to the exhaust duct and is mounted in white plastic housing. If that's fine then the Heating Element should be checked. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Dryer spins but no heat

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. It seems that the Thermal Fuse has gone bad and needs to be replaced. This fuse is mounted inside the back cover panel to the exhaust duct and is mounted in white plastic housing. You'll need to check it and replace it. Please do revert for further assistance.

Bosch Axxis WTA 3510 Electric Dryer. I changed the fuse but it won't turn. Could it be the motor because I don't hear any sound?

there is a switch next to the belt tension arm behind the motor that needs to be reset push the switch needs to be pushed to the right andthis should get your unit running as long as you have power

Hi,

Based likewise on your Premium Problem/Post here, I tried looking for a service manual but only found a possible source of the wiring diagram, have you tried here. Unfortunately, you need to be a paid member to access the files to my understanding.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Bosch Dryer misfunction

Check the fuse. This is a German unit, so every part including the light bulb is 208/240 volts. If the fuse for the dryer on the back is open the unit will not start.
