Thanks for the try but the range is 120 and the oven & stove top lights work. I wonder if there is a circuit board that controls the display and thus teh oven?

First the oven wouldn't ignite, now the burners won't ignite; the right front burner stopped lighting, then all the burners stopped. display panel works, timer and clock working fine; control lock not on. Odd that the oven and then burner igniters would go out in the same week. No tripped circuit breakers. No problem with gas supply, burners work fine when lit with a match.First the oven wouldn't ignite, now the burners won't ignite; the right front burner stopped lighting, then all the burners stopped. display panel works, timer and clock working fine; control lock not on. If you can use a tester to check both sides of the double breaker (i assume this is 220v ) see if there both powered...sounds like you lost one side of the 220

If your Kenmore electric range model 790.9232 oven is not working and the control panel is blank, there are a few potential causes for this issue:
Faulty control board: The control board manages the oven's functions and if it is faulty, the oven may not work and the control panel may be blank.
Power supply issue: There may be a problem with the power supply to the oven such as a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.
Wiring issue: A wiring problem such as a broken wire or loose connection may be preventing power from reaching the oven.
Thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts off power to the oven if it overheats. If the thermal fuse has tripped, the oven will not work and the control panel will be blank.
It's best to have a professional technician diagnose the issue. They will be able to identify the specific cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs. It's also important to check the owner's manual for troubleshooting options or error codes that might be displayed on the control panel.
It is also important to check if the range is properly plugged in, or if the outlet is working properly. https://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Range-Stove-Oven/18-6--/Kenmore-Oven-Won-T-Turn-On
the oven and burner relay that supplies power to the bake/broil/top surface units is bad or the signal to latch this relay is missing from the control panel
Sounds like you need an bake element ignitor if the bake doesn't work but if the broil also doesn't work, it could be the electronic clock/timer control. the part number for the bake ignitor is 8054129 .Best off to call a reliable service company such as Sears.
