Hey I use a audio software called Cubase 7 and It wont give sound to my Usb headset. I have tried to change the output but when i go to the output settings the name of the headsett dosent come on on options which it does on every other program I have, its like the Cubase Software cant see that I have a usb headset
SOURCE: cannot record
Im having the same probz, got a Hp Pavilion Vista using mobile pre amp usb when i record using a condenser mic XLR nothing is picked up from the channels in Cubase or Nuendo. Im trying to record vocals but the Mic is not picked up and i cannot hear myself in the headphones and it wont transfere to cubase.
It has worked before when i had a desktop, but this only worked with a separate m-audio sound card inside the desktop and i plug in the output jax leads from the desktop (soundcard) to the m-audio usb pre amp
Is this why it is not working for the laptop do i need a Jax connection and where is this audacity

you will have a very hard time finding drivers for xp. dell will not support and dell does not have drivers for xp for your system. try vista sp1. i have no problems with my 1530

You probably have the USB selection set incorrectly on the phone. Go to Menu, then Connectivity, then USB, then select "Data Service". The should fix it.
SOURCE: How to fix a usb composite device?
This device isn't supposed to need any drivers or other software under Windows XP (or Vista). These operating systems are sophisticated enough to recognize more than one "composite USB device," even when shown as being at the same "location." The location almost certainly refers to the USB hub, which has two or more USB ports.
Which means only three common causes for your problem:
1. the hardware doesn't work. You might try plugging the keyboard unit into someone else's computer.
2. These software packages won't work with this device. The unit ships with a specific package in Europe, Cubase LE 4 from Steinberg. You might have better results with this software. More immediately, if the hardware and computer are working, you should be able to use the Windows built-in program, Sound Recorder. From Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> Entertainment --> Sound Recorder. From this program select Edit --> Audio Properties. You may need to specify your keyboard as the default MIDI device (and doing so might fix your troubles).
3. The device possibly needs to be enabled in Device Manager (Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> Sound+Video+Game Controllers). You can also get to these settings from Control Panel --> Sounds+Multimedia --> Hardware.
I think it's very unlikely that you need to mess with memory allocation, as someone else suggested.

You have to connect to the site http://www.itrackerscale.co.uk and download the software and create a profile for it to work, the instructions are non existant, it took me ages to work it out.
