I have a toshiba satellite A100, which has a sensor for fingerprints,
and all of a sudden it wont work. Everytime i swipe my finger, it comes
up as "bad quality". I've tried re-doing my fingerprints, but even that
wont work because every time i swipe it comes up as "bad quality". What
is wrong??????? what can i do to fix it?
Try to unplug your adaptor (using battery state), if your fingerprint work good, it's mean that the problem is your electrity (in your house/office) have grounding problem. Try using shoes or something like that so your body don't make a direct contact /w ground. I dunno, how this problem could be like this, but my tips is work well.
Try cleaning the finger print device with rubbing alcohol. If no good then try reinstall the drivers.

I have a Toshiba Qosmio G50-129.It is 3 months old.The finger print sensoris suddenly not working.I reinstalled with a newer version of TrueSuite Access Manager Fingerprint Software.The programme is AuthenTec Version 2.5.28.0.I am unable to check the actual hardware,as I believe the sssoftware is ok.Have you any ideas.Thanks.Mountcashell
best solution worked for me and I had this for quite sometime. I also don't understand why this issues should happen due to electricity stuff but it did work...thanks hendro
