Motor would stop at random. Now it doesn't want to go at all. Display console is lit all the time so it shouldn't be a 120 volt power issue. Incline works, heart monitor works. No loose wires detected. fuse on board is good.

if your machine has a timer the timer could be bad or it's the motor, these are the last two things that could stop your dryer from having no heat, next time send the model number, also did you check where the plug connects to the dryer to make sure you have 240 volts going into the dryer, that's the first thing to check, but to answer your question you get 120 volts from the timer or board and the other 120 comes from the motor, you need 240 volts down to heater to have heat.
If its a Icon Health and Fitness branded treadmill (proform, image ,healthrider etc.)The safety key activates the on off switch for the console. (micro switch activated by safety key)Check for 9-12v going to console. Unless it has a magnet switch. What brand and model ?
If your treadmill has an optical speed sensor and hasn't been cleaned
for a while, dust, dirt or lint may be obstructing the infared eye of
the speed sensor. Try cleaning the treadmill.
Or maybe you need to replace the upper display, although, you may
have a loose wiring harness that would cause the same problems. Open
the motor case and verify the wiring harness is plugged into the lower
board snugly. Also, remove the upper console and verify the harness
is plugged into the back of the console snugly as well.
Definitely,
inspect the components and try and isolate the source of the problem
yourself first, before contacting a dealer for parts, as they can cost
a fortune..
