No water at water dispensor - Amana AFD2535DES French Door Refrigerator

Is your fridge compartment temperature in the region of 2 ~ 6 C range. Is your fridge food not going bad. Then dispensor water should be cool. Cool water tank is normally hidden inside fridge compartment. Lowest temp is around 2 ~ 6 C range.

If you keep on taking water rapidly then there is no time for the cooling tank to cool. You are just pushing house water through the water dispensor.

1. level unit. 2. verify dispensor drawer is not plugged with detergent. 3.3.Check water hose, connections and screens in hose for blockage. 4.4.Unplug washer and check mechanical linkage installation of dispensor motor. 5. check continuity from the dispensor motor and CCU connector. 6.Check resistance of dispensor motor. get online diagnostic manual part no. W10207732A to get repair and diagnostic trouble shooting guide. Sounds complicated but is not. Also check for broken or burnt wiring/connections. Unplug and check brainbos for burned circuits/resistors. Also check your grounds. Very critical for electronics to function.

HI MIKE.may be its just jammed with ice.empty all and try empty first.might be making ice and solidifying due to water leak.(high pressure or valve) or motor gone.good luck Ali

you will need to replace the line from the back to the dispensor

hmm, wonder if the flap is broken inside where the water comes out or the control board is not working properly

two problem one water vale are the line were water come out is frozen the water splashes back and line freezes are water vale leakes

sorry for the delay. on the modificaton to the dispensor, that , im not aware of anyway. more than likely either something is blocking it from getting full spray of water of simply not enough water in the unit to full expell the detergent

you have prime the system air out of the water lines this is easy to do
put a glass big enough to cover water dispensor outlet cause its going to project water out at you press and hold button till water starts to run smooth
these fridges will spit water at you when you prime the system at first cause theres air blockage in lines

Since you have water getting to the icemaker/dispenser, the most common problem I've seen is the solenoid valve is history and needs replacing. It could also be the switch that is normally activated by the dispenser itself and in turn activates the solenoid valve or the wiring in-between the switch and valve, but I have personally not seen either one of those go bad.

It depends on where it is freezing. Can you determine where the freezing is? These things don't usually clog. They can develop what is called a vapor lock in the water dispenser behind the meat drawer in the refer. For freezing let me know where it is freezing.
