Nishiki is a brand of bicycles designed, specified, marketed and distributed by West Coast Cycle in the United States, initially manufactured by Kawamura Cycle Co. in Kobe, Japan, and subsequently by Giant of Taiwan. The bicycles were first marketed under the American Eagle brand beginning in 1965[1] and later under the Nishiki brand until 2001.
contact a Fuji dealer or their website. BTW owners manuals are very generic and the same manual is used for all models of bikes that a manufacturer produces. If you want specific information on how to maintain and fix your bike a good bike repair manual will do you much better, like the Park Tool Manual, Leonard Zinn's repair manuals, the Barnett's manuals and many others.
royce union is a department store brand and unless you can track down the japanese company that manufactured your model chances are you will not be able to find a repair manual. most bikes do not come with repair manuals. when they are sold they will only come the model manual. it does not included repair questions or repair help. your best bet is to bring your bike to your local LBS. if it is a minor issue than the repair should not be costly. if you have a major issue or multiple issues your best bet is to purchase a new or used bike. the cost of repairing a royce union with multiple issues would probably add up to the original cost of the bike. what exactly are you trying to fix on the bike? maybe i can help you or point you in the right direction.
Use this link for instructions. It is best if you have your bike on a bike stand. If you don't have a bike stand then you can put it upside down with a towel under it. Make sure that none of the wires are being pinched while either in the stand or while upside down. http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help/rear-derailler-adjustments-derailleur
Brakes can have a number of things wrong with them, as they are a crucial part of the bikes safety and fairly complicated, this is probably not the best first time project and I would recommend taking the bike into your local bike shop.
If you insist on working on the brakes yourself, and it is good to know how to work on your brakes, then you should get a good repair manual that clearly explains the process and what tools you will need for your specific brakes.
Books are readily available at any bookstore and many bike shops (where you will be buying the parts and most likely tools, anyway)
Here is a couple of good ones. Park tool repair manual (the big blue book) and Zinn and the art of mountain bike maintance.
