Constant beep Top burners work, but oven suddenly stoped working while cooking, showing code F2E0. Control panel was showing that oven is in the cleaning cicle, but oven was not working. Nothing on the panel was working as well. After turning braker off/on, I have constant beeping sound. Burners work on top, but nothingĀ  works in the oven. Control panel is steel showing cln cycle but nothing is happening. Only cancel button works, as long as I am holding it.

My oven does not work, it beeps like every 10 seconds and is driving me. I had a repair man, "An expert" troubleshooted and he sayd the circuit card was bad, so he replaced it, and still no fix. The burners work, but none of the oven fuctions do.

    Thank you for your help.

Hello,
The F1 error code means a button on the touchpad is stuck, usually pushing clear/off will clear it. Since you have done that and it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced

I have a frigidaire m/n PLES389ECD and the burners and oven aren't working and had the error code f20, the clock timer was replaced but now the clock is the only thing working the burners and oven still...

The ESEC system and the electronic oven control ain't communicating. Check the wiring connections between the oven control and the esec controls. The thang is designed to lockout the top burners while the self clean feature is in use. If you failed to reconnect that connection which feeds back to the ESEC I imagine nothing does work. LOL. here's a video which shows how it works and I have the manual loaded on Gdocs fo you.

Control panel quit working.

I guess it just dried out. A couple of hours later the panel began working again. Strange. You would think it would be sealed so that spills, etc. couldn't get in there.

Stove burner gets red hot

Since you do not have a thermostat control on your burners, I would suspect you may have an infinite switch (burner control), that controls that particular burner, possibly starting to go bad. The thermostat control is located on the infinite switch itself and may be cycling on and off improperly. Its hard to tell with intermittent problems, however. If in doubt, you can do a comparison between a working 8" inch burner and the one you are having problems with.

Another thing to consider with these coil type plug in burners, the receptacles under the cook top that they plug into can gradually become loose over time and cause the burners to arc. This may also cause excess current flow through the burner and will eventually cause burner coil damage and/or receptacle failure. I would troubleshoot this by, first, by unplugging the appliance and inspecting all the burner receptacles. If any show signs of burning or melting, replace them. You will need to lift the cook top to access them. Locate the screws under the bottom front edge of the cook top (open the oven door to see them) and remove them. With the screws removed, the cook top will lift up. Prop in place using the hinge supports.

NOTE: Remove the burner coils and bowls before lifting the cook top.

Replacements parts (including burner receptacles) can be purchased at pcappliancerepair.com, appliancepartspro.com, searspartsdirect.com, or repairclinic.com.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.
