I've checked the inlet water strainer on the supply side of the cold water and it looked clean but I still cleaned it. I've replaced the supply hose and it still doesn't work. The cold water supply will dispense into the detergent tray if I shut off and turn back on the supply from the cold water. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi.
Sounds like the valve that lets the water in on the dispensing cycle is sticking, if you can hear the valve buzzing i would certainly suspect it to be faulty
SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt Premium inlet valve solution you posted.
Hi.
You do not need a schematic for your washer, the valve is located at the top left rear of the m/c, where the hose is connected to.
Your best course of action is to contact Bosch direct for price and availability of valve.
Address as below

Or www.4bosch.co.uk/spares.
Hope this helps, and please bear in mind I have diagnosed this problem on the information supplied by you, so cannot guarantee it will solve your problem. Good luck

Make absolutely sure you have the hoses connected to the correct inlet valves,it sounds to me as though they are the wrong way round.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
SOURCE: The washer got frozen which broke the cold water
And you replaced the water valve correct oo i just found this posted on a forum you may want to take a look at it http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/laundry/msg0716013026988.html it doesn't tell me if yours is the 800 for the make when i look up yr model number so basicly what you have to do is disconnect after the water valve where it goes into the machine to see if you have cold water going in to the machine because that model there saying heats the water to the lowest setting of 60 degrees read that link and message me back if you have any further questions and please remember when our chat is through to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation thanks again
