Obtained a Delta Lov Millenium 5 in 1 Crib/Bed from a friend of ours. Missing 2 of the metal dowels. Where can I purchase these dowels?

It sounds like you have the mattress support rails in upside down. The rails (2) have 2 nubs on each end that attach them to the left and right side of the crib. They look like what you would see on an adults bed that run the length from the head to the footboard. If installed upside down they dont work. There should be 2 swivel tabs on each rail. These face up. The mattress support fits into the very top of the rails and the swivels turn to just sit over the top of the support board and keep it in place. You can go to Delta's site and check for the recall. It is a FREE easy fix. Just plug in your model number and sometimes date of manufacture. They will send you the kit and you are now safe and secure. Here is a link to Delta to check. And as far as worried, it is your child's safety, check it.

I HAVE A MILLENNIUM CRIB BED I NEED 2 STABILIZER BARS

You can order the crib rails through your local Babies R Us. We have the same crib, and have been having trouble locating them also. I spoke with the store manager today, and she said all DELTA cribs use the same rails. They are a metal pair that cost $69.99. The number for them is: 617153. Hope this helps!! :-)

Go to deltaenterprise.com and look for their customer service number and give them a call. They are very helpful.

Contact the manufacturer for a replacement kit. Usually you can tell them it wasn't included in the box and they will send one out to you.

Try calling the customer service number (212)-645-9033. I have not called them yet to get the conversion rails for our Delta Luv 5 in 1, but I'm hoping that they will know more than Babies R Us!!
