You've got to replace the bulb. I've had my KF-50WE610 for four years. Mine just went out again too. This is the third bulb in four years. The bulbs are expensive too - $100 -$200 each
Your LCD backlighting system is not functioning.Your LCD main board should detect the problem and would give you and error code. This needs an immediate service.See if the Tv is under warranty then you can return it an get a replacement. It usually the inverter that has the problem but also either one(even just one)baclighting bulb goes off it will shut off all the backlighting bulbs, thus a sound with no picture as a result.
I have the same issue, we've had to change our bulb three times in less than two years. now we have 61" expensive paper weight. Our current bulb is less than 6 months old. The TV is only 2 years old and like i said this is our third bulb.
the blue light blinks 4 times. you get sound. then a few minutes the the picture returns... then it goes out, and the cycle goes on.
The red light is a status indicator that means your tv needs to be serviced. Most likely your bulb burned out or failed. You can purchase a replacement bulb online. I have solved a few questions on how to replace a bulb on this site. Check my profile for those posts if you need help with that.
You have bad capacitors in the power supply that took out the regulator, or the ballast circuit is defective. Not really a repair for the novice. Good Luck
