Is the remote capable of controlling other items check the handbook for the dish system for TV control set up if possible

No,the Dish Network satalite box signals require it own remote for it INFER RED INPUT and INFER RED OUTPUT signals.Call Dish Network customer service ask for a another original Dish Network remote.U pay $5 or $6 dollars a month for the satalite box as rental.They should wave the fee or charge u very little for a another remote.

The model # of your remote should be located on the back of the remote at the top, usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point. I will list here for you the best codes for our more popular models of remote and the instructions for addressing the remote to your TV. Instructions for addressing the remote to the TV

1. Turn the Television On.
2. Press and hold the TV Mode button until all the mode lights light up red.
   
3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
4. Press the pound(#) button once.
   Note: The LED will flash three times.
5. Test functionality with the TV.
6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

sometimes a leaky filter capacitor in the power supply primary section could caused this problem,or a loose solder connection in the power supply section

The only codes that I was able to find for the Viore TV were for the 5.3 IR remote and the codes are 563 and 500. If these codes do not work you can also try running a channel scan to find your particular code. I will also list here for you the instructions for running a power scan. Instructions for addressing remote to TV,

1. Turn the Television On
2. Press and Hold the TV mode button down until all the mode buttons (i.e AUX, SAT, TV etc.) light up.
3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
4. Press the pound(#) button once. Note: The LED will flash three times.
5. Test functionality with the TV
6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

Instructions for running a power scan

1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the TV button down until all the mode lights light up.
2. Press 500 using the number key pad.
3. Press the pound(#) button once.
4. The TV button will blink red three times.
5. Then again press and hold down the TV button down until all the mode lights light up.
   
6. Press and release the big red Power button once.
7. Press the Up button once every second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. Keep pressing the up button until the TV turns off until.
8. AS SOON AS THE TV TURNS OFF Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
9. Try the functionality of the TV to see if the power scan worked.
   

Hi there my name is Kimberly Escobar with DISH Network Customer Support. I understand you need the codes to program a DISH Network remote model 3.0 to an LG T.V. Some of the codes we have are 678, 506, 520,123, 000, 512, and 213. To integrate the code into the remote you would need to press and hold the clear T.V button at the top until all the other top buttons light up in red, then once you see them light up you would need to enter one of your codes followed by the pound key (#) for example if you choose code 678 it would be 678#. After you press pound the T.V button will flash in red 3 times after that try the remote and make sure it functions with your T.V. I hope this is helpful to you. sound like timer setting on . you need to go to setup menu the timer set it off, if not , you need to check power supply unit, high value capacitor if under reading replace it. good luck!

If you are looking to have the Dish remote operate your TV, just do a random search for your tv. First, hold down the tv button on the dish remote until all the rest of the light up. Next press the tvpower button on the dish remote. Next, press the channel up button (this is the up arrow button) until the set turns off. When it does turn off, press the # key at the bottom right of the remote. The tv button will light and flash twice. That's it. Your done. Hope this helps.
