This is often a problem when using non-Kodak inks as the cheap after-market cartridges use dye instead of pigment inks. Replace the after-market cartridge with the proper Kodak pigment ink cartridge and the problem should go away. If you are using a Kodak cartridge, you may need to run your printer through the cleaning cycle a couple of times. Also, run the printer through the calibration cycle once.
