Washer machine front loader wont fill up and wont drain

All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.

Is the drain hose at the same height as the top of the washer?

check your water lines could be clogged or not even turned on at the valve behind it, also might be not enough pressure in line to make it work

I can not see the entire front of your machine, are you sure its over filling? I use a front loader also, at the bottom of my front loader is a small door, when I open it there is a drain pipe inside, sometimes the drain needs to be cleared. I am hoping this is your issue and that this is a quick fix for you.
If not, you can check the back of your washer where your water hose connects to washer. Inside the hook up is a screen (on your washer) sometimes these become clogged due to mineral deposits in the water.

I have had this problem before on my GE Arora front loader. Just remove the lower front panel. There if its like mine there should be a cap and you unscrew the cap. It will start to drain the water so make sure that there is something to catch all the water. There is a lot of water. Then after all the water has drained, remove anything that is clogging the drain. Small socks, pens, pocket trash is usually the problem. Then return the cap to the original position and your done.

Check for power at the pump wires 120 volts when its in drain cycle.If voltage is good you need a pump. good luck thanks for voting

your drain should have a backflow device in it. This can be very dangerous, you need a professional plumber ASAP.

If the pump is on all the time, then you definately have a timer and or control board prob, the only other possibility is if the drain outlet hose is to low.
This will cause the water to syhon out , thereby giving the impression that it is pumping out all the time.
To check this, try lifting the drain hose higher, and see if that solves the prob.
