Replace light bulb in Maytag MDF2560HES - Maytag MFD2560HES Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator

The cooktop light bulb(s) is(are) located on the underside of the microwave oven, and is(are) replaceable. Remove bulb cover screw, and open the bulb cover. Replace bulb, close bulb cover, and secure with screw. Cavity light: The cavity light bulb is located behind the vent grille at the top front of the microwave oven, under the bulb cover, and is replaceable. Remove 2 screws on the vent grille, tilt the grille forward, and lift it out. Open bulb cover and replace bulb. Close bulb cover, replace vent grille, and secure with screws.

Switch on the door faulty , could be stuck in all the time, spray with W D 40 and work the switch in and out.

some of the bulbs you buy at the stor the sucket pease is not long onoft try to scruit more or by them from a applice parts stor they little longet and make good contact

DISCONNECT THE POWER TO THE OVEN -----1 - Hold bulb cover in place and slide the wire retainer off of the cover ----- 2 - Remove the light bulb cover and the light bulb ----- 3 - Replace with a 40 watt appliance light bulb ----- 4 - Replace light bulb cover and wire retainer ----- 5 - Reconnect the power to the oven and set the clock

the bulbs may look good but try a new one or just try tighting them into the sockets tighter. this is a common problem . the rubber prevents the bulb from going in all the way .. silcone grease on the bulb base.. mm

A 20W, 120V replacement xenon halogen bulb with G8 base can be purchased from Lowe's.
