Philips HTS3541/f7 main menu can't read display runs off screen

Go to the main menu and try and find the factory reset. That should restore all the changed settings to before you messed around with it.

I think if you try a CD disc, you will find that disc will play. The Optical Pickup(laser) has worn out of specification. There are actually 3 lasers in the unit; a CD, DVD and Blu Ray lasers. They are all use different wavelengths of light, so one laser cannot cover all 3 wavelengths. Unfortunately, you will need a new pickup. Again, try the CD. I'm 90% sure it will play fine, unless the pickup is covered in dust(like my house :-(. turn off everything including the internet router etc and power them all up and try again. maybe try netflix on your pc to see if its your internet connection speed

To connect your computer to a wireless router, you click the Refresh network list, then Choose your wireless network and then click Connect to your secured Wireless Network, it will asks for a Network Key before allowing you to connect into your wireless network. This Network Key is either the WEP, or WPA or WPA2 Encryption key that is configured in the Wireless settings in the Router. The Passphrase is an alternate way to setup the Encryption key.
