Everytime we start the washer it ends up leaking when it's almost finished, ths is primarely on the left side of the machine. The leak doesn't come from the drainage and the filter is clear. The water that leaks is soapy.
Sounds like you have a leak from the tub. Either the seal in the bottom of the tub or a hole in the tub. When you run it again try feeling around the bottom center of the tub for water or try to see if water is leaking any where out of tub. Clear water would be from the supply line , soapy water would be from tub or a hose coming out of tub.

sounds like the lower pipe or pump pipe is leaking or come away. you need to pull the washer out and place it on its side (left as you look at front) and check the pipes on the bottom, they have pincer clamps on the pipes, if the pipes are cracked or damaged replace them but usually its just they have come loose from drum movement. and just need fitting back on. also the drain pipe needs to be at least 3 inches from the top level with the water in pipes height of the washer so the water does not just come out.
I had this problem with my old Maytag (top-load) - it was the injector - an assembly mounted on the top left of the machine - a $10 fix (about $36 for the entire assembly) and the problem disappeared!
anti flood activated usually caused by an internal leak if you remove machine and tip it to the left water will run out and machine will restart but you need to find out what caused the leak as it will probably return.
probably has a pin hole leak where it has been rubbing the tub. Does the tub have a seal at the top of it where it meets the top. Could be the seal is going bad.
You have a solenoid leaking by. Next time toy finish a load, shut of one of the water supply valves at the wall. If the water does NOT come into the machine after that, you know that you closed the right valve. Once you have determined which side (hot or cold) is leaking, follow that hose to the machine. The hose connects to the solenoid valve, which is just an electrically controlled valve that is either opened or closed. You can try to service the valve, but it is easier to remove and replace it. They don't cost much, and you can get an exact replacement at any appliance parts supply house. Total time to replace...1-1/2 hours.

the same thing happened to our washer and a friend told us to take off panel below door and there's a opening that's covered with a circular plastic cover, open manually and remove all the junk that's accumulated from all washes, careful it may leak a great deal of water! Try that if anything else, unless you've already had it serviced!
I'm looking to try and solve yet another issue with the same washer...
