Water leaking out of steam hose

If the water is leaking out from the steam hose, there are only a limited solution which you can use to tackle this problem.
First you have to locate the exact point from which the water is leaking out. If you have located the point, you can now go on to check if it happens to be a big hole or just a tiny hole, this will help in determining the method you would use to deal with this problem.
If the hole happens to be a big one, it is best advised that you just change the whole hose because patching large holes are not very good and they could prove to be useless at times.
Also, you can do one of the following if it is a small hole where the water is leaking from.
You can decide to patch it using some sort of adhesive or use other methods that you feel would do about the same job.
Alternatively, it is still best that you change the entire steam hose. This might require you to call a technician or an expert to come home and help you examine it properly and then fix it for you.
It shouldn't cost too much to fix it or change the whole hose.
If you want to change it by yourself, you can go over to a local store or shop online for a replacement one.
Hope this solution was helpful to you? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya.

MAH550BWW front load Maytag washer-gasket drainis clogged

There is a 2" L shape hose connected to that drain hole under. You can unclog it using a soft plastic stick. Stick it on to that hole do not force it turn the plastic stick while putting it in. Thare are 2 types of door gasket on that model one has hole in it and the other doesn't. If your original doesn't have a hole, the one that has a hole will work but there is a plug on to that hole.

This is your door gasket

Just take the front panell off to see if there's a small hose connected to the gasket drain hole. You can even clean it after taking the panell off

Overheated and found small pin hole in passenger side radiator hose. Suspect thermostat(s) stuck. Need to change.

The hole in the hose will cause it to overheat through water loss and pressure loss. Replace the hose first and see how it works.

Just received sunpentown sf 616 evaporative air cooler

Sounds like you have a hole in the tubing somewhere within the unit. You will need to remove it and take it outdoors and start it up to trace where the water is coming from.

How to change the Belt Tensioner on a 1994 ford escort wagon.

On the right hand side of the engine find bolt in the center of the tensioner arm, this is the only bolt that holds it in place. Look directly across from this bolt and you will see a hose, the power steering resivoir hose is clamped here with a 10mm bolt, remove this bolt. Remove tensioner bolt and lift hose up to get the bolt out. When installing new tensioner, locate small round hole in tensioner mount on the engine, insert small pin on back side of the tensioner arm in this hole, then insert bolt and tighten, install the hise clamp bolt, and belt. Hope this helps, let me know.
