Make sure the microphone and the receiver are still broadcasting/receiving on the same channel.
Check that all of the appropriate connections are right from the receiver to the mixing board are connected as well.

Two screws on the back of the battery casing, then prise out the battery tray (it's a detachable moulded tray in the mic body) using a small screwdriver in the slot near the power button. Under the threads of the battery cover is screw which holds in the PCB, unscrew this. Take the full mic head off (not just the ball, but an inch further down with the capsule in it), and remove the circlip inside. The PCB then slides out towards the head end of the mic.
