Invert the trimmer pull the center of the head straight off. Wind new line in counter Clockwise direction. There should be a hole or notch to place the center of the string in. insert each end of the sting through one of the holes in the head and reinsert the spool into the proper position. Be sure that the automatic advance is movable by pressing down and pulling out more string. Cut string to proper length and restart your trimmer

SOURCE: dont know how to install new fuel lines on

Hello:

The Following is a Basic Instruction File I made for Replacing the Fuel Lines and the Filter on Chain Saws and Trimmers. Any Input is Appreciated.
>>The Fuel Line is Pushed and Pulled (I Use Long Needle Nose Pliers) Through the Small Hole Until the Hose is Out the Fill Hole about a 1/2".
>>You can Also Use a Coat Hanger with a Small J at the End to Hook the Filter in the Tank and Pull the Filter and Hose (if Detached from the Carburetor) Out the Tank Fill Hole Enough to Replace the Filter.
>>Then Attach the Filter and Pull the Hose Back Until the Filter Lays at the Bottom of the Tank Just Below the Fill Hole (or so it is in the Bottom of the Tank and will Rest in the Fuel Mix when Turned at Common Angles the Unit May be Turned to During Operation.
>>**Hint: Use Plenty of Spray Lubrication at the Small Hole as you are Feeding in the Hose. It Slides Easier.**
Hope this Helps.

Good Luck

Respectfully

John

SOURCE: craftsman 32cc would not idle

If you are certain that you have correcting gaped the plug then the next step is to readjust the low end idle carburetor. If you look you should see two holes in the plastic cover that lead to the flow adjustment screws they may even be out in the open. If they are not labeled H and L (the L is the one you want), check your manual for the correct one. A good place to start is turning the screw all the way in then backing it out 1 1\2 turns. Then check it. If you still have problems do 1\4 turns out. After about one full turn from that you might want to consider taking the carburetor off and removing the float bowl or the bottom for a good cleaning. A sticking float could cause problems with your fuel flow.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: repairing fuel line on craftsman 32cc weed trimmer.

Cut the end of the line at a sharp angle. Spray WD-40 on the line and fuel tank hole. Slowly screw the line in the tank far enough so you can connect the fuel filter if you are replacing that line. If not just push the line into the tank if you have a two line system. Remember on the fuel primer, the long tip has the line going to the tank, and the short tip has the fuel line going to the carb.

SOURCE: I have a craftsman 32cc

An auto feed line system will do just that and if too much line is released there is usually a cutter inside the edge of the plastic guard covering the string head. I use a Troy Built head on a 32 craftsman and I unscrew the bump knob ...twist and pull out the spring loaded spool....cut a lenth of line 6-8 feet or so....thread the two raw ends thru the two holes in the inner spool....pull them out until they are even with each other....then grasp each one and hold them side by side and wind them onto the spool in a clockwise manner. This is how I do the string head with a split boom that fits the 32cc Sears Power head (an older Troy Bilt).

Was given a craftsman 32cc weedwacker. no manual. need to know what fuel it takes.

The website just says gas/oil (http://community.craftsman.com/Craftsman-Convertible-32cc-Gas-Line-Trimmer-reviews?tab=details). I'm not sure what that means. But on the Craftsman Community web page (http://community.craftsman.com/community) there is a link that says Feedback and Support. If you click that and fill out the form, someone should get back to you.
Hope this helps!

Craftsman 32cc weed eater wont start. Push in the primer bulb and it does not refill, stays stuck in!

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

You willneed to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner. Makesure the small screen is free of debris.(Should be able to see daylightthrough it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance, just let me know.
