The tub was slipping on the motor and when loaded would not spin. I noted when accessing through the back panel that the rotor bolt was loose, probably from the factory as the unit has been used less than two years. When I inspected the rotor, the plastic insert that is screwed into the rotor housing and provides the splined hole that fits over the splined shaft from the motor/stator, the plastic ridges had been destroyed. There are three screws mounting the plastic piece onto the rotor so it appears that the designers anticipated selling replacement for the plastic piece alone. So far this evening, I've only been able to find complete rotor assemblies costing $100+.
So, bottom line, your rotor may just be loose.

I just repaired the same model washer. This washer has a direct drive stepping motor attached to a spline shaft on the rear of the drum. The hub on the rotor is made from fiberglass reinforced polyester plastic. The plastic spline socket on the hub fails. In my case, it spun free of the drum and overloaded the main board. I went to check on the load in the washer and found a completely dead control board and a soaking wet load inside. This machine is repair friendly and for the most part, durable.

Stop using it to prevent additional damage. If you are up to troubleshooting and repairing it yourself, it may only need a rotor. The repair requires a Philips screwdriver, 19mm and 10mm sockets on a 3/8" ratchet with 2" extension. A second pair of hands will be needed to hold the drum while you install the new rotor.

When you remove the rotor, inspect the inside surface of the magnets for scuffing. If there is any evidence of the magnets contacting the stator, its a good idea to remove the stator to inspect it for damage. Its possible for the rotor to scrape at the mounting points of the RPS and damage it. If the stator shows wear from contact with the rotor, replace it along with the RPS.

Steve R is right except that if the splines in the rotor are stripped you will have to buy a new rotor or the bolt will just continue to lossen itself up. The rotor is $64.33 online. Still a ten minute fix, after you wait a week for part delivery.

IF you are lucky, the spline of the motor rotor has stripped out. It is an easy repair (about a 2 on a 1-10 difficulty scale), and the part carries a 5 year warranty (minimum, up to 10 years on newer models) Remove back cover, unscrew bolt at center of motor, pull rotor off. If spline is stripped from rotor, replace rotor and you're done. IF SPLINE IS NOT STRIPPED ....... Oh s***! The drive shaft has broken loose from the three arms which attach it to the drum. (the part is called the "spider") To repair, remove bolt on end of shaft at center of motor. You may have to cut it with an angle grinder, but don't worry about that, because the shaft has to be replaced anyway. Remove motor rotor and stator. Remove washer front, drain hose, fill hose, shock absorbers, support springs, all wires attached to outer drum, and eventually the entire outer drum. Remove bolts between front and back halves of outer tub to allow removal of inner drum. Remove 6 bolts holding 3 arms of spider to back of inner drum. Re-assemble with new spider and new bolt for end of shaft. If you can do it in under two hours, give yourself a big pat on the back. This is about a 9.5 on a 1 - 10 difficulty scale for repairs on this washer.

Try putting the bolt about half way back in and hitting the head of the bolt with a hammer a few times. Remove bolt and take off rotor. If needed, try again or use a bit longer bolt. (note, you want to have the bolt in far enough so you do not damage any of the threads when you hit on it)
