Tractor was having some difficulty starting so a bought a new battery put it in and it started up fine. It was running for about two minutes in the garage and it just stopped. When I tried to start it again there was nothing. No lights or power of any sort. I even tried to jump start it and still nothing. It is not getting any current. Fuse? Silk kid?

Change the solenoid, if you can jump the posts on the solenoid and the engine turns over...the solenoid is bad
SOURCE: I have a cub cadet 1550, Blew fuse and wont disengage from gear
You have a bad wire which rubbed on the plastic housing to the engine block near the starter mower which causes a short and blows the fuse. I have the same tractor and this happened to mine also. The wire is red.

check for a fuse behind the ignition
it might be blown
then i would check the starter solenoid
if you put a screwdriver accross the bolts that hold the wire from the starter and ignition switch and it tries to start there's ur problem.
Testimonial: "So after borrowing the neighbor's tractor for a month, I finally checked the fuse and YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!! Blown fuse! You're BRILLIANT! Tnx!"
SOURCE: cub cadet has no power changed battery still no
Blown fuse. There is a fuse somewhere thats blown. It will be about a 15 amp in a fuse holder either back by the battery or behind the dash. U didnt specifiy the 100 number If thats a starter-gen it could be a reg- relay issue.
