If you laptop has a HDMI port,it can be connected via that port. If it doesn't you can connect with a PC to TV PC cable if your tv is PC compatible.

To connect a laptop with a Sanyo TV, the TV must have VGA cable connection. VGA cable picture



If the TV is not equipped with a VGA cable, it can not be be a laptop and a TV connection.

When you have everything connected try turning your TV off then on . My laptop dide the same thing and this is how I solved it...

Hi there.
You can connect your TV up as an external monitor either through the VGA or HDMI ports if your laptop and TV supports such connections.
If you post back what connections you have on the TV and your laptop i will be able to advice you on what leads you will need to connect to the TV.
