Is your tablet running Android? There is an Android app you can download that can help you take screenshot of your device. Just google screenshot ultimate apk, download and install it. Another one I recommend is Apowersoft Screenshot.
How to reset a Alcatel One Touch tablet?
If your tablet won't turn off, then follow the steps below. Press and hold Volume up and Power buttons until the reset interface appears on the screen. Scroll to the desired language using the Volume down button, then press the Power button. Scroll to wipe data/factory reset using the Volume down button.
I'm not certain, but I believe that is a function of the Android OS. Mine has an icon which takes a screenshot... and I often do, even when I do not want to. I found nothing about screenshot in the Acer manual, so I am not sure how you can make this a function. The manual is at:
