Place the chute over the rotor. Remove all the clamp bolts for one blade. This will allow you to remove the old blade and clamp bar. Clean clamp bar and blade slot. Install new blade with clamp bar. You will need a knife gauge for this. Use the knife gauge at each end of the blade. Torque clamp bolts to 280 ft. lbs. After blades are installed it is necessary to adjust the bed knife by loosening the three bed knife bolts. Use the set screws to adjust the bed knife to 1/16 in. above the lower feed plate. Torque the bed knife bolts to 250 ft. lbs. Then use the other two bolts to adjust the lower feed plate to .013 to .016 between the bed knife and the rotor blades. Put the chute back into place and you are good to go.
