Wput in my password for email acct, says no one found for that acct

Hi , if your using I device and obviously you've set up an e mail / gmail adress with your password , here's the easiest solution .
Go to your settings menu
scroll down to mail ,contacts , calendar . ( tap on )
you should see your email address (tap on )
you should see your gmail acct. and at the bottom delete acct. (Tap on delete ) not to worry your acct is a fixed or an assigned acct only to you and will always remain .
Now you will be asked to add an account
Choose your provider ,Google , yahoo , hotmail ,etc
Follow the instructions and TYPE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME, ORIGINAL USED PASSWORD (APPLE ) , AND IF YOU WANT A DESCRIPTION FOR THIS ADDRESS ,ie : default adress , recovery adress , email 1 , email 2 . Etc etc .......then
you will see in upper right hand corner continue or done . Should be Done . Tap done.
You do not need to open SMTP or you do not need to add server . It is located through automatically.
Your done ! Should open email app icon and send or receive mail . If you get an error pop up then you've most likely entered wrong password . Use your apple password . Not your Google or other provider password

If you go to "www.google.com", then in the middle of the screen is the search box, but at the top right of the window are four to five options, one of which is "Gmail". If you click on this you will load a page where you can input your username and password. Under the sign in button, there is a "need help?" link. If you click on this the next page gives you three options, forgotten password, forgotten username and other problems. If youclick in the circle next to "I don't know my password" and click continue. You will be asked for your email as registered with gmail, clicking continue will lead you to one of those annoying pages where you enter the characters displayed. On the next screen enter a gmail password you remember and then you will get a page to ask for a text message or automated phone call, whichever you prefer which will give you a code to enter into the next page and then you will be able to change your password.

Simply click the link below, click "Sign in" in the upper right hand corner and sign in using the same username and password you used to create the account on your phone. Gmail works on any platform with a browser so your laptop will have no issue as long as it is up to date.

On the Gmail sign-in page, click the "Need help?" link.

That can be a problem. I save passwords in the browser, locked behind a master password. Follow the Google search:

and perhaps one of the options given will help you out.

Which email service is it under? I can try to walk you through the steps.(Gmail, yahoo, hotmail...etc..) Generally, you look for (Sign-In Help, or Can't access your account) Links under the sign in box. Then select whether you can't remember password or Username. Then continue from there.

hijacked? just reset you password using alternate email or security question if not you can always hack it back.
ps you can also send a report to gmail.. by clicking on forgot password and following procedure .

Open the Web browser on your phone and navigate to gmail.com.
Tap "Can't access your account" located under the "Sign in" button.
Select "I forgot my password" and then click "Reset your password here."
Type your email into the "Email" text box and then type the random captcha into the captcha text box.
An email with your new Gmail password will be sent to your alternate Gmail address.
Follow the directions in the email to reset your password.
Type the new Gmail password into the loin screen on your Droid to unlock the account.

Below the sign in area is a Can't access your acct. link click it the next is a email entry page then the next is a verify page put in the code you see in the picture, Next it will ask you do you want a link to reset sent to your verify email acct. you set up or to a phone if you set up a phone number to get password help with choose which ever you got set up and it should get you a link or call. then do what either says to do from there.

go to gmail & sign in with your ID & then in the same menu box at the bottom click can't access my account & follow the prompts
