My screen closes after any only brief pause, and takes me to start screen all over again to reenter my password, then I have to find my work all over again. doesn't matter what screen I go to, it won't just stay there for my lesson study, if I walk away momentarily. SOURCE: Partial blackout on Screen

I have the same laptop, and though I havent had a black out problem i do have screen burn or a discoloration in the lower corners of my screen. I was told that It was due to this model's overheating issue and that I would have to replace the screen.

SOURCE: TV screen goes blank but power stays on

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.

SOURCE: won't stay on

IS THIS WITH BOTH AC CORD AND BATTERY
you probably need a power supply
before you run out and buy one start and press f8 then start in safemode see if the same thing happens
also make sure your AC adapter is connecting with internal connection the internal connection can become loose or bent from constant plugging and unplugging

SOURCE: HELP! KDFE55A20 watching TV and screen goes black and loses sound

Yes, its most probably lamp issue.
Please but original Sony lamp from Sony store and replace it in TV.

SOURCE: LG 47LC7DF LCD TV turns off with a pop then turns back on.

Sounds like a overheating issue. Try facing a large fan blowing across the back of the unit and see if this changes anything. If it does, it might help to blow the back out with compressed air as dust might be helping it overheat.

My life fitness f3 treadmill wont incline anymore it says OFF on the screen how do i turn it on again?

You have to 'RECALIBRATE" the treadmill. This happens to my F3 all the time and it is very frustrating. Evidently there is no "fix" except to "RECALIBRATE.".

Here is how to do it (pay close attention because it gets TRICKY!):

1) Turn "ON" the treadmill;

2) Press the "RESET" button;

3) Here is where it gets tricky:

After you press the "RESET' button "PLEASE WAIT" or "WAIT" comes on;
As soon as the screen goes "BLANK" but before "SELECT PROGRAM" appears, hold the "PAUSE" button down until "DIAGNOSTICS"
appears.

(I told you that was tricky... so after you press "RESET"... 'PLEASE WAIT" will come on... as soon as the screen goes "BLANK" you must hold the 'PAUSE' button before "SELECT PROGRAM" comes on. If "SELECT PROGRAM": comes on you have pressed and held "PAUSE" TOO LATE! You must time it right between 'PLEASE WAIT" and "SELECT PROGRAM" when the screen is BLANK. Why LifeFitness made this so difficult is a MYSTERY!!!!)

OKAY... TO CONTINUE...

4) After "DIAGNOSTICS" appears, use the arrows to scroll to "CALIBRATION."

5) Then press the 'START" button (make sure it's the SILVER not the black START button!)

6) The treadmill will then automatically cycle through a series of tests including speed and incline adjustments in order to complete the "CALIBRATION."

7) When successfully completed, the console will display: "PASS"

8) YOU'RE DONE! And your incline should work now. You may have to TURN OFF the treadmill and TURN it back "ON" so that you can resume using the treadmill.

Hope this helps! Once again... LifeFitness should have made this 'RECALIBRATION" much simpler!

Good luck! It's very hard the first time... but once you do it a few times, it gets easier!

Blinking light

the light blinking is an error code. you can count the number of blinks from a brief pause. it would continue to blink the same number of blinks after a brief pause. count this blinks and you can help the incompetent person that installed your unit to diagnosed the unit from the error codes that you will give him.

if you unplug the unit, it will reset and run again. after a few minutes, the sensor would sense the trouble and turn off the unit and display this code again as a blinking light.

tnx for using fixya.

Screen doesn't display when car is running

I have noticed with other devices in the car plugged up to a cigarette lighter, it will work while the car is running and once it is turned off, but once the car is started again, I lose power. Evidentally this is an issue with car electrical systems either resetting or surging so it isn't anything wrong with your dvd player. It would be best if you could unplug the player and let it run on battery just before the car is started and then plug it back it once the car is running. I hope this helps.
