I doubt you have the specialized equipment needs to do this successfully. I wrote this for vehicle AC, but just change the word 'AC' to 'Fridge'. The procedure is the same. You can't eyeball this stuff. Also, with the new compressor, did you add oil and a new dryer?

There are two locks on them.

Child Lock, C-On, and C-OFF.
and
Door Lock due to water level.

The latter one should unlock a few minutes after the wash ends. If it doesn't, you need a service call. Cutting the power should reset it.
